This it?

Tumbling Tumbleweeds
written by Bob Nolan

See them rolling around
Dee-da-do, da-dum
Pledging their love to the ground
Here on the range I'll be found
Drifting along with the tumbling tumbleweeds

See them rolling along
Pledging their love with a song
Here on the range I belong
Drifting along with the tumbling tumbleweeds

I know when day is done
That a new world awaits at dawn
See them rolling along
Pledging their love with a song
Here on the range I belong
Drifting along with the tumbling tumbleweeds

I know when day is done
That a new world awaits at dawn
See them rolling along
Pledging their love with a song
Here on the range I belong
Drifting along with the tumbling tumbleweeds

Cheers!
Ian

BTW, the lyrics are also in an old thread that could be found by using the DT and Forum Search and entering the first line of the song or the title. CLICK I did remember hearing someone do it with an opening verse/prelude so I did find that one. Compare and use whichever.

Sorry I tuned it late. Can put my hands on a S/P LP as soon as I get home and will check it out tonight, but I've always remembered it, "when NIGHT is GONE,/ That a new world's born at dawn..." which to my feeble mind makes more sense and rhymes more truly. I will give it a listen if I remember and get back to you manyana.

Check it CC.....If you looked, both the site I linked and Big RiB's past thread which I also linked use the night line.

I wonder why this played ok, but, when I tried to play a piece in the DT, it said "Invalid format" ??

See Spaw, sometimes laziness pays off. I didn't have time to explore the blue clickies and now that you have crossed all i's and dotted all t's I don't even have to listen to the puppy, which I would probably have forgotten to do anyway. Then again, maybe I'll give it a spin just for the Hell of it. I take it you are recovering ???? Hope so.

I'm a roving Cowboy Riding all day long Tumbleweeds around me Sing there lonesome song

Nights underneath the prairie moon I ride along and sing this tune

See them tumbling down Pledging their love to the ground Here on the range I'll be found Drifting along like the tumbling tumbleweed

I know when night is gone That a new world's born at dawn

Cares of the past are behind Nowhere to go but I'll find Just where the trail will wind Drifting along like a tumbling tumbleweed
