But what is it doing to Donald's health? The latest photographs show an anguished grotesque unhappy man.

It looks like Nancy is taking the helm.

The WSJ says 39% of us do not want an inquiry or impeacment.

51% of respondents to a, get this, Fox News poll that came out today said that Trump should be impeached and removed from office.

That was very well done, Helen.

Twitler feels no remorse over betraying the Kurds because,in his own words, "they didn't help us at Normandy". Whoa!
I have to wonder what kind of deal he worked out with Erdowan and considering the way he runs foreign policy like a protection racket to further his own interests wether or not he is being blackmailed.

Trump and Americas of their Kurdish allies in Syria is a line in the sand not to be crossed by any decent nations
His behavioir has already been more or less ignored by the world - Israel has even chosen to support his antisemitism with silence and a determination to name railway stations and public buildings
Ever nation that does this becomes smeared with his filth
Trump has long shamed himself, now he is shaming his country and those nations who continue to suck up to him
Same on America and shame on lis international lap-dogs
As somebody has already said "Normandy!!"

Of all the horrible things Trump has done, leaving the Kurds in the lurch is the worst. He shows his lack of honor and by virtue of his position, he has made America dishonorable. Once again the Kurds have been abandoned and deserted by a western democracy. History will judge this one of the great betrayals of all time.

I want Trump to be gone. That's about all I can say, other than, if he makes it to election, it won't be a landslide for Dems. It will be whatever is a level of magnitude above landslide. And then, he'll have to be pried out of the White House like a spider in a drainpipe.

Impeachment is analogous to an indictment. Removal from office requires a trial based on the bill of impeachment. It takes place in the Senate, which, if the impeachment is upheld, decides on the penalty.

EBarnacle, I'm hoping that it gets to the point where Republicans will HAVE to vote for impeachment. Of course, that point, IMO, came a while back, but his idiot followers won't get it until it hits them personally. Maybe. The polls seem to indicate that those who stand with the criminal will go down with him, so jump, rats, and swim.

Rats trying to leave the country are being arrested at airports, and interesting stories about their meddling in politics to try to influence profits in (where else) - Ukraine are causing some blow-back to a Texas GOP former congressman (Sessions) who was unelected in 2018 so has moved to a district he thinks would be better to win. Then this comes up. Good! It seems they promised him lots of donations if he would try to get rid of the US Ambassador to Ukraine who was apparently too good at her job. (The story was heard this morning on NPR).

That's one I picked up here at MC, Helen.

Yesterday was a good day for America, we found a hero in Yovanovitch (read her opening remarks to the House Intel committee), The Daily Beast reported that congress is vetting even more whistleblowers and Twitler got shot down in court 5 times.

From over here on the sidelines, I am hoping that the evidence is strong enough to convince enough Republicans in the senate that it is not a good political bet to back Trump as a winner. Sometimes the fear of mud sticking is enough to flip the politicians into self preservation mode.

A "Women For Trump" rally in D.C. fizzled on Thursday due to an alleged liberal conspiracy when the actual reason was that the vendor got stiffed, a familiar refrain in Trumpsylvania. An article from The Daily Beast with some disturbing comments from Twitler supporters:

I'll bet one or more of those organizers walked off with a passel of loot. Probably a skill they picked up at Trump U.

A passel of loot is less than a shitload of cash.

The inauguration music celebration for Trump had a budget of 107 million dollars but it looks like they only spent a pittanc for unknown bands. That was a white whale shitload of 'profit'.
