JT and I did a slow version of it. We called it "Nine Pound Pick by Bill Repute and the Neverly Brothers"

Ron I fell in love with the way you and JT did that song. It was top shelf like every thing I ever heard from you. wish I had your skill sets for sure.

Barry and the boys are going to record my Lighting Road song. great bluegrass group for sure. I bet JT knows Kappa. She has a hell of a following now beautiful voice for sure.

Tell JT Hi. Haven't heard from him in a year

Roll on buddy! Don't you roll so slow.
How'm I gonna roll, when the wheels won't go.
Roll on buddy! Pull a load of coal
How'm I gonna pull, when the wheels won't roll.

What does it mean? I’m looking for this sort of explanation: English take on analysing American lyrics

Or rather, I can only come up with that sort of explanation: the coal wagon was invented before what we now know as the wheel, and the wheels they did have were square, so of course, they wouldn’t roll (buddy).

No, actually, what does it REALLY mean?
