BS: Happy Birthday, Rita & the P-Vine...

From: Bobert

Another year has passed
each one goes a little quicker than the last...

But nevermind that 'cause tomorrow is the birthday of two of the sweetest womenz that I know, Rita and the P-Vine...

Not too sure what poor Bill is gonna do fir Rita's but I been informed by the P-Vine that I had better come up with somethin' real special... Guess that rules out McDonalds... Jus' jokin'... Ol' hillbilly don't do McDs nor does the P-Vine...

But I have all night to think on it and after the P-Vine goes to bed get out all my construction paper and colored pens and make her a nice Birthday card... Used to be this place over the mountain in Flint Hill, the "Public House", that she adored but it closed down...

No matter, both Bill and I will do our best so here's wishin' both Rita and the P-Vine a heartfelt...

...Happy Birthday!!!

Loves ya both to pieces...

Bobert

"Bountiful Bliss"? Sounds like just the thing, Bobert. Give my birthday wishes to Eve and tell her it still makes me smile inside when I remember the good times we had when we visited you. (Tell yourself that part, too....) I remember among other goodies Eve's cooking, her conversation, her garden, and her wonderful singing of some of my favorite show songs.

I've yet to meet the dee-vine Pea-Vine, but you're a legendary prescence on the Cat, and since all the best people send you their best wishes, I'll send you mine as well.

But speaking of best people, may Rita's Fer-Aura continue to shine upon us all. Best wishes to a World-Class wonderful giving and sharing human being who happens to be matched up with Bill in an unbeatable combination.

Both of you enjoy the Day and the year that it commemorates!

PULCHRITUDINOUS PUELLAE.............Geeziz Amos............Sounds like something that went bad in the refrigerator or possibly something requiring a large dose of antibiotics.

Doc: "I'm sorry to inform you that you have PULCHRITUDINOUS PUELLAE.   You'll be in need of pennicillin and a Johnson product."

Amos: "What do I need from them? Some bandages or First Aid cream?"

Doc: "Uhmmm....No.....I meant your dick is gonna' fall off and you'll need a new Johnson."

What was this thread about? Oh yeah.......Happy Birthday Rita! You know I love you even if you are married to Bill. You're one of my favorite people!!!

And P-Vine, a Happy Birthday to you too. Though I don't know you except through Bobertz, I want to tell you I don't believe everything he says. But listen, I do have to ask.........Is it true you can put your feet behind head?

Beautiful young ladies, if my Latin is right.
Saints in my book. Anyone who live with the Stick Man or that crazy redneck Bobert should be canonized.
Love to all of you.
Happy Birthday.

"crazy redneck Bobert"??? Hey, I resemble those remarks...

Well, not too sure what Stick Man is gonna do fir Rita but as fir me??? I already got point fir making the P-Vine a B-Day card last night after she went to bed... Flowers cut outta construction paper and so today I'm takin' her to this little restaurant in Charlottesville... Reckon by the end of the day I will have a few more points... Of course I will spend 'um up fir sayin' or doin' somethin' dumb but, hey???

What's you doin', Bill, fir the other B-Day girl???

Something tells me these ladies ought to get together and compare notes.**BG**

Happy Birthday, Rita and P-vine. May you have many more filled with all you need and desire, even if that includes your other "halves." :-)

Actually, I suspect they are two of the best guys a gal could ask for and I know they are some of the luckiest from all I've known and/or heard of both of you. Hope your day is lovely.

Many happy returns to both Rita and Eve. Knowing the men you are married to I know that they will make the day the best possible in their own ways.

Live long, die happy......

So far, so good here...

Lovely lunch in Charlottesville, then to our favorite coffee joint where they roast beans from all over the world fir a couple pounds of coffee, then to the P-Vine's favorite little bakery for a brownie, then to the 2nd hand shop where she bought an semi-ugly chair for $35 (I didn't sya word about it being semi-ugly), then to the P-Vine's favorite old timey grocery store where the butchers cut meat the way they did back in the 50s right in front of you, then to Lowes for a bag of Peat Moss and then home... So I arrived home with points in hand having not done or said anything dumb... The chair was a challenge...

I thought the chair was bad enough, VaTam... I mean, on the way home we got stopped at a railroad crossing fir a freight train so I got outta the car, walked to the back, got the chair out and held it up so that the oncoming locomotive could see it and that locomotive jumped tracks and took that train down a dirt road... Sho nuff did... I mean, that is one ugly chair but she wanted it so I guess i'm off the hook fir another year...

In other words: no castle...

But thanks fir offerin'...

Maybe Bill will get it fir Rita...

Nope. Don't want no castle. Bill already spends too much time fixing up our house and it's only from the 1950's.

We had a lovely day and evening. Well, I had a lovely afternoon watching Bill "rake" leaves and then he repaired some plumbing problems so our guests could use the downstairs loo. Then later people came over and gave me wonderful cards and a present and we ate delicious food which we ordered from a carry-out Chinese place so no one had to cook and then we sang songs and made jokes. Perfect.

Thanks all who sent birthday wishes.

Rita
