Does anyone know of a website for songs in Spanish like this Mudcat website, perhaps some group in Spain or Latin America who is posting something similar? I would GREATLY appreciate it!

I don't have my bookmarks hare at the library, but I did come up with one: http://www.elmariachi.com/copyright.asp. There was a good site sponsored by the mariachi band at Stanford University, but I can't find it from here. I think if you did a Web search for corridos, you'd find some.

Well, that link was't perfect, but it will get you to lots of songs if you follow the "songs" link on that page. Here is the best Corridos (click) page I've found, but a Web search will find you many more.

Well, here's a "Corrido" site sponsored by the Smithsonian; I've just been throuh it, and can recommend it highly: it's exciting!

http://corridos.org/

It's an educational site; the final activity for students is to write and listen to their own 'corrido' - in English if need be; more advanced students might do it in Spanish.

Here's another excellent site that contains quicktime versions of "Ojala que Llueva Cafe" and Juanes' "La Historia de Juan". It's targeted, again, to second language students:
