Subject: The Limerick game
From: Bert
Date: 29 Jul 06 - 03:04 PM

Seeing as my Fee, Fie, Fo, Fum, song challenge didn't work let's back up a bit and play the game that originally gave me the idea.

The Limerick game.

One person writes the first line and passes it on to the next person who writes the next line.

Here goes.

There was a young man from Orilla

(your turn - one line per message please)

JennyO:
For purists, a Limerick must only be 5 lines with a very precise rhyme scheme.
We've already lost the standard scansion in some of the above.

Or else you can break all the rules and say anything you feel like saying cos the only word you can think of for the end of the last line is 'tourists' and it doesn't have anything to do with the subject and someone else just said it anyway...

OOPS ;-)

By the way, thanks for calling me 'young', Nigel.
