They said it couldn't be done (some said it shouldn't be done ) but Les & Maggie from Hull and Roger from Beverley are appearing together at the Sun Inn, Beverley from 8.30pm on Sunday 7th July. A world first - don't miss it.

If Les is Rhett Oktober and Maggie is Rhett Seena you could be Rhett Sabeehavenue or Rhett Sadance or even Rhett Mebeyour Teddybear

It's a good day in Beverley as our gig follows the excellent monthly session at Nellies featuring quite a few other local 'catters.

That's something along the lines(gettit?) of what I was thinking when I put LMR on the posters. I did debate whether to put in vowels and call ourselves LEMUR - any other suggestions of what three performers of a certain age could reasonably call themselves?

I don't think that I have been propositioned electronically before. Do you want me for myself or is it just my instrument?

ooh err missus! we thought we could be the Supremes to your Diana Ross! Or an elderly version of those two girls in the Human League - we just thought it would be a giggle and it gives us a reason to practise!!! Anyway, a man and his instrument should never be seperated - not even surgically!

I think that the Human League option appeals most - I couldn't manage the Diva thing. Then again, I couldn't do the Phil Oaksey hair thing either!

How about a name then? - Sheheshe? If you changed your name to Theresa or Terry we could go out as HRT. We would only get middle aged audiences though ;-)

Or Heather, and we could then be HRH -besides which have you looked at our audiences lately- we are younger than they are! I quite like Sheheshe -it sounds like a loud sneeze -or how about the Busby Babes? Anyway -on a dim light you would certainly pass for Diana Ross!
