Looking for lyrics to the Youngbloods' song Darkness Darkness. Am not having any luck on any of the popular rock lyric servers and parts of the original Youngblood's version are so rife with 60's attempts at psychedelia that they are indecipherable. I recently heard a very nice folk-oriented version on a World Cafe program but didn't catch the artist's name. Lyrics and/or performer's name would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

bwl

At  Tab Planet:

Darkness Darkness

At  Rainbow of Lyrics:

Darkness Darkness

A straight search at Google for "darkness darkness" youngbloods brought it up right away; it's probably an easier method than trawling through lyric servers.

Thanks Malcolm

I had tried Google before, but forgot the quote marks. Guess I get a DUH for that one.

Still would like to know who does that great cover of it.

It was recently covered by Richard Shindell on his 1997 album "Reunion Hill." Margaret
