Ah, the Enterprise and Regulatory Reform Bill will include "measures to remove "unnecessary legislation", helping businesses to save time and money, and measures to help employers hire new staff and resolve disputes in the workplace more quickly"

You know what that means, peasants? Kiss your Lord and Master's arse harder. Get that tongue right in. Or you're fired. No notice, no pay, no redress and no benefits. It may well remove redundancy rights altogether.

PS - "Repeal unnecessary legislation" - that's code for "Well you should have kept your stupid fingers OUT of the machinery, and then you wouldn't be crippled, would you?" It may also be the death knell for parts of the Equality Act.

I `ad a couple of them politicians in my cab the other day. They were on their way `ome after the Opening of Parliament and sharing my taxi to the station. You`da thought with the dosh they pocket they could afford one each and I bet they`ll claim it on their expenses.
One, a scruffy sod, said to `is companion, "That`s the trouble with your lot. The the world`s on the edge of recession, you come down like a ton of bricks on the the less well off and announce party time for the toffs. It`s one bloody law for the rich and another one for the poor."
The other one, top `at and tails, said, "You`re wrong there, Old Boy. It`s two for the rich and none for the poor!!."

Whaddam I Like??

Paint drying
Traffic lights changing
Grass growing
all more interesting than the Jubilee or the olympics
I will probably use the xtra bank holiday to finish my latest banjo - that will probably elicit a few comments
