My mom used to sing a verion of Miss Mary Mack that wasn't the traditional d-r-m-f-f-f tune...it had a minor feel to it. Does anyone know this version?

Sounds like a version Tommy Makem sang on the live album with Liam Clancy.

You'll find it on Ella Jenkins' Folkways album You'll Sing A Song And I'll Sing A Song . It was originally released back in the 60's, and it was a staple in lots and lots of Kindergartens and Preschools for many years, so I suspect that many people learned it there.

You might check this out by asking your mom, "Did you feed my cow?" If she answers "Yaas, Mam!!", you'll know.
