Bans are added to the bot's internal ban list (also called the enforced or permanent ban list) using the .+ban command. They may also be added automatically by the bot (e.g. in response to a flood) or by a Tcl script. Internal bans can either be global (they apply to all channels the bot is on) or channel-specific. A ban may be permanent or expire automatically after a set amount of time, and it may optionally be 'sticky'
