A fantastic teacher when I was at primary school sang a version of the song you are talking about, and I can still remember most of it.

Down at our school,
Teachers are so funny,
If you want to see them,
YOu'll have to pay some money,

Soldiers half a crown,
Sailors half a guinea,
Big fat men, 2 and 10,
Little kids a penny

That was the chorus, and the verses he made up were brilliant.

Mr Price is a holy man,
He goes to church on Sundays,
He prays to God to give him strength
To bash all the kids on Mondays,

Mr Smith's car, will go a mile
If you go to the back and push it
The mess within,
Is like a dustbin
If you sit on the top you'll crush it.
