You know folks, if we all bought our instruments using these criteria only:

No vanity involved

No resale value considered

No design preferences

Blind sound tests only.......

I do believe that YAMAHA would rule the world.

I've never (to the best of my knowledge) owned a Yamaha, 'cause I've got tons of instrument vanity, DO consider resale value, love certain designs, and wouldn't trust a store employee in a blind sound I've always had expensive antique and new instruments. BUT....consistantly over the years, the best sounding, most durable instruments i've seen have been Yamahas (some of them plywood)

C'est La Vie.
