Thread Name: BS: How does Gravity Work?
Subject: RE: BS: How does Gravity Work?
Some physicists have posited the existence of a gravity particle, but none has yet been detected. When I was going to the U of Washington (1979-1983) I was told that the physicists there were on the cutting edge of graviton detection experimentation. Alas, they still ain't captured one.

According to Einsteinian physics, gravity works by bending the fabric of space time. Physical objects bend space -- the bigger the object, the more the bend -- so that other objects (and light!) are drawn toward them. The problem with this stuff is that it's hard to put it in layman's terms -- it's so bl**dy complex.
