Moving is great all-round exercise, Andrea. I've always ended up more fit at the end of all of that movement and heavy lifting, so I'm not surprised if you've lost weight!

I'm down a few pounds from when I started that diet over a month ago. I'm eating a healthy large portion of fruit or veggie with each meal, and keep the carb portion fairly small. I can see that the handlebars aren't so pronounced. Last week I was flipping through the radio dial and found that a station that used to have my favorite old hard rock seems to have returned from a couple of years of an oddball format. So I got some exercise just dancing around the kitchen, and that's what I'll plan to do every so often. It might embarrass my children, but the dogs don't care. :)

Yesterday afternoon the Charter folks let loose of my house phone, and the new cell phone is now serving that number. And with a few keystrokes, I paired the BluTooth devices and transferred a bunch of phone number contacts from my regular cell phone into the new house cell phone. I've disconnected and unplugged the cable phone modem (another cast off device added to the shelf of them) and paired the new cell with the wireless base I have in place. I'm still learning how to use it, but later on I'll pair the two other wireless handsets I have to that new base and have phones around the house.

I know this sounds silly, 2 cell phones, but this way I can keep the house number I've had for the last dozen years that is attached to a lot of accounts around town. And it means the people who are far and wide who know this number aren't high and dry if they try to reach me. It's nice to not fall off the face of the planet. ;)

I have to scramble to do work for work this morning so I can go finish in the yard this afternoon. Freezing weather is predicted to arrive in our area tomorrow.
