Subject: RE: BS: October+ fall declutter & accountability
Think I'll have to declutter the sinuses with the neti pot today. I have a headache trying to take hold.

My hall looks much better since I decided to sell those t-shirts on eBay. Out of the batch so far I've only sold 4, bringing a grand total of $9, but this will help my feedback, help my hall, and there wasn't much work in those. I figure you have to average out the eBay work to approach this as a declutter method. Some things just won't bring a lot of cash, but they're out, and as the feedback score grows the sales really are a little easier. I look at feedback when I purchase anything. (On sites like Amazon, I typically skip the lowest prices if they have low feedback, because folks just starting out can be real wild cards in the auction venues). If some of the other things I've listed do better on the purchase price then I'm rid of all of it and have a lump sum to enjoy for my effort.

I have a lot of stuff in the freezer - I keep flour, nuts, rice, hatch chiles, plus my frozen garden produce. I have a couple more chickens in there, a bag of shrimp, some 1lb blocks of pot roast, but I use the chicken and fish more than the rest and those were running low, so yesterday I did some of my stocking up shopping.

I found boneless skinless chicken breasts with a good coupon (the last day in the meat market at Albertson's they put a good meat market coupon on the package). I also picked up some fresh catfish fillets. These will keep me going all month. Also for the freezer I had an "aha!" moment on how to cook and freeze some eggplant without breading it (I'll quarter it lengthwise, cook and freeze it, and use it in this wonderful pork/tomato/onion/eggplant casserole I make. It's a recipe from a middle eastern cookbook).

I'll start new threads later today. Before then I need to get some of my accountability stuff (i.e., mowing the front lawn and walking the dogs) and I'll get it in the title. I think for all of us the combination of exercise and de-clutter is still a good one. They're continual things we are all working on. I'm down about 5 pounds since the beginning of the month. Every little bit helps!
