REally LTS on the sofa... can't be bothered to log out

Stilly - one or two black bananas - make banana flapjacks. 2 black bananas, 2 tablespoons of honey, 1 tablespoon of butter and the cheap, dusty muesli (granola?) they sell usually as own brand.

Melt the butter and honey together in a pan, mash in the bananas, add the muesli until it goes to a big, stiff dollop. Squash the dollop into a greased pan and bake at a moderate to high heat for 15-20 mins or until browning. Cut when warm but leave til cool to turn out, when they'll have firmed up a bit. The butter can be swapped for a lower fat alternative as long as it's not one of the ones that go icky when you cook with them. If you have vegans around, you can use sunflower or vegetable oil instead. The cheaper muesli works best as the dust absorbs the butter and honey and so they stick together better. You can add nuts, raisins, chocolate chips, anything you like.

On the decluttering front.. managed to excavate a table or two and turn 3 fabric stash piles into one box of fabric and 2 project boxes - I LOVE the Really Useful Box company!

Kitty returned at 2.30 this morning so I declared a day of Jubilee and snoozing. As for accountability... Today I had a deep and meaningful relationship with two gentlemen, Ben and Jerry... it is starting to show as there are a couple of pairs of trousers that are decidedly snug when sitting... so I really should get back on track...

More sewing happening, another quilt for a friend's mother, in green and yellow (we know a song about that), which doesn't seem to want to make it to the machine, so I've so far made a quarter of the blocks by hand. Only another 28 to go.
