The time is getting close now.

I am giving Peter the Landlord the beer list in the following order: -

1 - Old Faversham Dark described thus:

Old Faversham Dark - 3.5% ABV

The silky, ebony hue of this beer leads to a complex aroma of dark chocolate, mocha coffee, vanilla and a smokiness reminiscent of autumn bonfires. A smooth rich blend of dark chocolate and roast coffee hits the palate, complimented by autumn fruit flavours. Velvety cocoa flavours linger on the palate. Another darkly delicious, hand crafted gem from the Faversham Brewery.

Brewing: 11 January

Available: Week Beginning 25 January

2. Amber Ale described thus:

SEASONAL ALE FOR JANUARY/FEBRUARY

A golden brown ale with a fruity aroma and zesty citrus, complementing the full malty palate.

ABV:
4.5%
Containers
9 gallon firkin

3. Double Stout: described thus:

DOUBLE STOUT

SEASONAL ALE FOR MARCH

A classic cask stout combining the flavours and characteristics of three coloured malts and additional roasted barley. Generously bittered with choicest East Kent Hops.

ABV:
4.1%
Containers
9 gallon firkin

4. Early Bird described thus:

Early Bird Spring Hop Ale is brewed with the Early Bird single hop variety - hence the name!

This light gold beer is full-bodied, distinctive and refreshing as a spring day, with a malty undertone.

Available March, April.

Tasting notes:
Light malty and smooth flavours provide a platform for the full floral spring-like aromas. Spicy early season Kentish hops pervade the rich light fruits of this seasonal ale.
