Thread Name: Central London commuters' singaround?
Subject: RE: Central London commuters' singaround?

I've opted to go for a "start singing" time of 6.15: although I'll probably get there more like 6. I expect people will drift in (and out) pretty constantly throughout the following couple of hours (or more!). And that's fine. We won't be chastising late arrivals or early leavers. In a way, that's the whole point of it: to be "commuter friendly". Plus, being free to get in, there's no need to "get your money's worth".

Here's the text of the poster:

Acoustic/singers' open night

All styles of unplugged music welcome folk, singer/songwriter etc.

Come and join in: bring your voices, instruments and/or ears

...but please show consideration during performances

Excellent, friendly pub with great beers and dedicated upstairs music room.

I'm getting a very good feeling about this... ~8^)
