Is the mandolin your primary instrument or a sideline?
Currently mainly a sideline- I'm mainly playing fiddle - partly by choice, and partly because mandolin seems to aggravate an RSI problem worse than fiddle. But I still get it out to learn tunes or play on by myself sometimes

Yes, I'm in an Irish music/contra dance band ( Round the House)

Are you happy with your mandolin?
Yes, generally. When I played a lot, I needed a fret job after a few years, and eventually the tailpiece fatigued and had to be replaced, but the action, sound etc were acceptable for the price

Flatiron A style, about 12 years old
