You are correct in that I will forgive you just about anything...heck, we always need to leave some room for improvement, even if it is .01% worth.

And as for beer in America...well, yes, your typical American brew (ie Macro brews that are known Nationwide) tend to be like coloured water and taste almost the same. HOWEVER and this is something I don't think I have stressed with you in our many chats, Mick, is that Micro breweries have become a big thing here in the last several years. There have even been places where you can go and brew your own brew--as I have done this. These macro brews are the most wonderful stuff to be able to try--strong colour and flavour! A far cry from the "typical stuff"...and alot of people like the imports and the better pubs usually carry a good selection of these brews...which is great cause I have a liking for Guinness. And I tried a good English beer the other day--Young's Luxury Double Chocolate Stout (The Ram Brewery, Wandsworth). Honestly it was really good.

So, if you are a "connoiseur" of beer, you CAN take your beer seriously here in the States.

Mick, I shall expect a summary of any good "tidbits" (yes, the American term) you get about Cockersdale, as you are the one I will blame for getting me interested in the first place!!!!

And Graham, thanks again for posting the lyrics!
