I saw him in 1972 at the 2nd Winfield festival with Doc Watson, Norman Blake and Dan Crary. He was only 21 then. It was exhilarating watching/hearing those 4 together doing classic flat-picking. I guess 48_ years is not a bad career... but not enough for his caliber. RIP
