Charlottesville got ice. I have power, but people I know don't. It did the beauty thing in a big way, seen from heated provisioned shelter. I wish I could share one of the pix I took... I gather it will ice more overnight. Looking forward to more beauty tomorrow and I hope I keep my power. I have candles but, it occurs to me, no battery-powered heat sources. Ah, I do have chemical heat things for hands and feet, and lotsa clothes and blankies. Conclusion: no outage likely. I also claim my lining up someone to shovel my sidewalk is why we got no no snow.
