Steve.. the problem is that whether the extreme "religious instruction" you refer to is lies... or not ... depends on each mind doing the 'indoctrination'. We can't read minds and whether it's intentional lies or simply unswerving belief is impossible to know directly. The fact is, there is little practical difference. Here, we have Trump spouting falsehoods and mis-information daily... but whether he believes the crap he spouts is irrelevant. It is a danger to society!
