I liked the second one a lot better than the first. The heavy backings of those folk-rock arrangements in the first were downright pathological. And Polwart's guitar work was irrelevantly cluttered. The second told a clearer story in stronger music. Ralph McTell came across much better than I expected; I'll look out for more of his work. And Ashley Hutchings didn't. I'll listen on to the rest.
