I wish mothers would stop using the possibility of an emergency room visit as a reason to wear clean underwear. If you should wind up in the ER due to a serious accident, they're going to cut all your clothes off anyway, So why waste a good pair of clean underwear? If they're going to be sacrificed, just wear dirty ones. In fact, you should make it a point to wear dirty underwear any time you get an a car, just in case you're in an accident.
