MOM! I was using my corded sickle-bar type hedge trimmers to, well, trim some hedges, and I got the extension cord caught in the mechanism. So, I cut the damaged part of the cord away and replaced the plug with another one. It took about fifteen minutes or so. Then, I went to resume my trimming and discovered that I had replaced the FEMALE plug I had cut off with a MALE plug. So, I have an extension cord with two male plugs and not a single female plug with ground wire in my entire collection of electrical repair crap. Would somebody please find the reset button in my brain and push it?
