Thanks, much of my Grandfather's music was Spanish/California (he always pronounced it with a Castilian accent!). Some other songs I have retrieved recently are "El Zapatero", "El Quelelé", the beautiful "Porque te quiero tanto", "Tus Negros Ojos" and the lullaby "Dulce es la caņa" which turns out to be one chorus of an habaņera "Tú" available at IMSLP (Petrucci). I don't know how much interest there is here in Cal/Mex folksongs but I'll be happy to add some if I get encouragement ;-) Tony
