No one has mentioned my personal favourite singer/songwriter who is still doing his stuff--Leon Rosselson. I admire his courage, not just for the songs he has written, but for the fact he continues to perform them, as he has done now for 30 years. I greatly appreciate songwriters like him for providing people like me (who don't tend to have the writer's knack) with excellent material to perform. As long as there are people to listen to these songs, I will continue to sing them.
