Got mine secondhand via the Yorkshire Post as a 5 month old Border Collie. I said, "She's not pure, is she?" and the kennel owner where she had been placed said, "I think there's some Dulux dog in there". (Old English, for those who don't see the ads for Dulux paints). Well, me, I thought I had a Border/Beardie cross, as she and her coat both grew. She has the classic black and white collie markings, lovely and symmetrical, just dusted with white in places, and with a real plume of a tail. But she can't prick her ears, and her coat is heavy, thick and wavy, with a thick undercoat. A few years ago I took pity and started to clip her short for the summer, and now I think she definitely does have Old English in her. So I THINK she is an Old English/Border. But it's now been 11 years, and I'm still not sure. I am sure it's all sheepdog of some sort! Daft as a brush too.

There are some people I know in Scotland who have a lovely chocolate brown Coloodle called Lottie. She is a Collie/Poodle, and a lovely dog. Same size and build as mine (a bit tall for a collie), but with a wavy brown coat.
