I am currently in the high desert in the south of the Carson Valley. We had unexpected rain. During the course of the eclipse, we had views peeking through the clouds, but also had a rainbow to the east; as the eclipse resolved and the light became brighter, it became a double rainbow, and the inner, brighter one had repeating layers of the spectrum up to six. Amazing in both directions.
