skipy Your comments about walking reminds me of the second "Stanford in the Vale", or, possibly, third, when I was stewarding. In those days there was an official walk in the magnificent Vale of White Horse. I found myself, map in hand, leading said walk. The only trouble was I did not know the area at all! Nevertheless we managed it without mishap. I seem to remember that you had great confidence in me, or to put it another way, said, "Get on with it, there is no-one else!" Happy days!
