Ok folks, I hear you and appreciate your comments. Trouble is, I am from land-locked Huddersfield in West Yorkshire and feared I might get seasick on the ever rolling boat! But if I can get to it I am sure that I will thoroughly enjoy it in very good company. Didn't mean to diss you Mick owld lad because I know you do lots of sterling work for the folk scene and this festival. Just some concern in me head that too many endless shanties might get a bit tiresome after a while but I think that you and other contributors here have (sort of) answered that question. Many thanks.
