Another possibility is the carol 'Wachet auf', to the tune used by Bach in his Cantata 140, but written originally by Philipp Nicolai around 1597. Perhaps the most commonly used translation is by F.C.Birkit and begins: Wake, O wake, with tidings thrilling the watchmen all the air are filling, arise, Jerusalem, arise!
