Chris Green Isambarde Electric EP launch (6) Isambarde Electric EP launch and summer 09 dates 18 May 09

Hollo all

Just to let you know that Isambarde Electric will be shortly be unleashing their debut live EP on the world. It's imaginatively entitled 'Live EP' and was recorded last December in Nuneaton by the estimable Graham Bradshaw. It features five tracks with full five-piece electric line-up, three of which are existing numbers from our current three-piece set and the two of which have never been heard anywhere else!

We're having a launch party on May 30th at the Maudslay in Coventry, where we'll be supported by local duo Berlioz Is Dead, which is comprised of original Isambarde singer Lorna Roden and our old mate Mark Grady on guitar. Tickets are 3 on the door or alternatively if you buy a copy of the EP (competitively priced at 5) you'll get in for nowt.

If you can't make the launch party but would still like to get your mitts on one, we're playing at quite a few festivals and things this summer (see dates below) or you can order one from our
website. There's a special pre-order price of a fiver on there at the mo, which will jump up to 6 after the release date of May 30th.

Dates for the summer are as follows -

30th May - The Maudslay, 190 Allesley Old Road, Coventry, CV5 8GJ

20th June - Wessex Acoustic Al Fresco, The Farquharson Arms, Pimperne nr Blandford, Dorset DT11 8TX

21st June - Middlewich Folk & Boat Festival

27th June - Rougemont Castle CAMRA beer festival, Exeter, Devon

4th July - The Mill Arts Centre, Spiceball Park, Banbury, Oxfordshire, OX16 5QE (supporting the fabulous Leatherat at their album launch)

18th-19th July - Stainsby Festival

13th August - Cropredy Festival Fringe, the Brasenose Arms, Cropredy. 1pm.

4th-6th September - Wallingford BunkFest, Oxfordshire.

Hope to see you at one of them!

Chris
