Just a little background - Napoleon XIV, the maker of "They’re Coming To Take Me Away, Ha-Haaa!" was actually Jerry Samuels. He was (and may still be) an amazingly skilled engineer at the Associated Recording Studios in New York; a crazy man and all around good guy. That was at the time that they had a full four track board in the control room and were the envy of most other studios.
