We have been using CD Baby to sell our album Clearwater for about a year now and the highest praise we can give is we have had absolutely no problems. The service and information we can access is first class. We get notified when we have made a sale and we are supplied with an email address of the purchaser and information on how they found out about our music. We can set the retail price to what we wish both for hard copies and download; we can also see how many people have visited our page to listen to the samples we have set up. They also allow you to set up samples of one to all songs on an album for people to listen to. The samples can be from 30 seconds to two min long.. We have found this a great feature as we refer people to cd baby from our main web site so that they can sample all our music even if they are not going to but the album. If we wish we get paid weekly so no issues with waiting for money owed and you can set the level of money when they pay you, this is great for us here in the UK as we do not want a lot of cheques for 20 dollars as there is a fee to convert them into sterling. We wait until we have 200 dollars of sales and then they send us the cheque.

Basically CD Baby gets our vote as the best outlet for independent musicians like ourselves, mow all we need to do is sell more albums!
