Donuel: "Basicly the Daily Show is fake..."

Oh no, Joe, tell me it ain't so! What do you mean, it's fake? I wake up every morning to Jon and Steven (Comedy Central reruns them in the mornings on the West Coast).

Yeah, pretty pathetic when Jon Stewart has to tell the major media (by example and in person) what real news is like. His little run-in with Tucker Carlson was a classic, and I think heart-felt.

Petr: Great link. I think that a visceral, subconscious awareness of all that is what is driving the Jean Schmidt type behaviour and the likes of Teribus and BB here. You can smell the fear, not only in the maladministration, but in the many that have so firmly hitched their own hopes on that miserable nag (for reasons that I think only they will be able to explain). The fall will be mighty. Unfortunately, I expect even more extreme behaviour from some of the faithful ... or even the maladministration.

Oh, BTW, I see the New York Times has now chipped in with 1/3 of the front-page in their take on Dubya's "exit strategy".... Big pictures.

"Dubya, you're doing a heck of a job"....

Cheers,
