Well said tunesmith - she is also a pleasant change from the finger in the ear nasal drone style of folk singing so many people prefer. Folk's equivqlent of RP. Regardless of where the song is from or what it's about many think it can be improved with a finger in the ear and singing down their nose. Oh and a pint in one hand never goes amiss.
